aldeburgh adventures
We spent a sun-soaked Saturday in Aldeburgh filming with The Suffolk Cottage Collection. My daughter Henny joined me for the day, and together we starred in scenes at the beach, and around town, while Shaun Lawson captured the magic on camera. The morning began at The Scallop, Aldeburgh’s iconic beach sculpture, with sweeping drone shots of the coastline just before lunch. The light was golden, the sea calm, and Aldeburgh’s famous shoreline looked spectacular from every angle.

“It was such a joyful day with sunny skies, and the perfect chance to bring Aldeburgh to life on film.”

Aldeburgh Thai Street Café lunch
We paused at Thai Street Café to say hi to Eliza and the team. It was such an amazing lunch. Woweeeeee! Thanks Eliza! You have to try it for yourself to believe how good it really is. Beautiful, colourful flavours in a gorgeous seaside location. What more could you ask for on a sunny day.

Afternoon cottages & friends
After lunch, we filmed at Sandpiper Cottage and 6 Town Steps, two of our much-loved Aldeburgh holiday cottages. Along the way we bumped into friends in town, adding a lovely local touch to the day. And of course, Pepe, our furry guest who came all the way from London, stole the show and made lots of new friends too!
Behind the camera
We could not have asked for better than working with videographer Shaun Lawson. We think the result is a film that captures Aldeburgh’s charm, from the beach and cottages to the food and friendly faces. We hope you like it too!
Look out for the next filming adventure….

“Working with you all, in this light and this place, made the day flow beautifully. Can’t wait to work on the next shoot!”
