From the Suffolk coast to the countryside, our hand-picked, self catering, pet-friendly cottages make every stay unforgettable.

We have had the most life enriching stay at the Hollies Shepherds Hut. The location is fantastic to get away from the hussle and bustle of life. Yet close enough to Woddbridge, Sutton Hoo, and Orford for us to explore Suffolk with ease. Our hosts were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The hut itself gave us enough room to enjoy the space. We used the hot plate a couple of times, which was quick and easy and brought our own slow cooker to have our evening meals ready to go. We will most definitely will be back.
Charming and well equipped flat. Comfortable and clean set in the lovely Suffolk town of Framlingham with good eating places , shops and the famous castle. Good walks in the area
All that we expected. Lovely location, in a good position, overlooking a wild meadow. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good facilities, including TV, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Quiet and able to get some relaxing sleep. Have recommended it to our friends.
We had a lovely stay at The Cross Wing. It was a beautiful, peaceful place in a great location, and everything was just as we hoped. We particularly loved the bath, and all the quirky little touches that give the place so much character the stairs, the low beams in the lounge area and all the charm of an older property. The pear tree was an unexpected bonus too! I helped myself to a few pears at breakfast time, which was a lovely touch. Everything was comfortable and well looked after, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend The Cross Wing and would be very happy to stay again.
Excellent cottage in a beautiful location - and cake!! Great walks and activities nearby so highly recommended.
We booked a lovely shepherd's hut for 3 nights, with a welcoming host, just a stone's throw from the Sutton Hoo estate, which we had come to visit. It was so peaceful and comfortable; a real treat for us (without the kids!)
We had a lovely two-week stay in 3 Chestnut. The cottage was immaculately clean and well-designed. Beautiful decor and comfortable beds. It’s a great location- right on the high street with easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as local sights. Our host Helen was gracious and helpful. The bread, milk, eggs and other goodies were much appreciated. Highly recommend.
Carly’s Yard is a gem of a property. It’s full of original character and beautifully decorated throughout. Very spacious living areas and very well equipped. A short walk to Framlingham shops, cafes and castle makes it the perfect stopover. Just mind your head on the low beams if you’re tall!
Well appointed, The Cross Wing is full of old world character and charm which means some care needs to be taken when moving between rooms or using the stairs but, hey, given the age of the original, historic building with wooden beams, that's to be expected and is all part of the charm. I just learned where I had to duck slightly soon after arriving! The place was spotlessly clean and well cared for with a very well appointed kitchen too. The shower was excellent in the huge bathroom. Parking was easy and convenient, and despite there being people booked in next door, there was no noise between the two properties. With the A12 not that far away, access to various attractions in Suffolk is easy too. There is a little bit of noise from the small country road outside from local country traffic but the M25 it is definitely not! Overall an excellent retreat in a great area!
