Aldeburgh Walks: The Best Walks From Aldeburgh

Aldeburgh is an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk coast on foot. Walk straight from town along the beach towards Thorpeness, head inland through heath and woodland, or follow paths beside the River Alde and its salt marshes.

Here are some of our favourite walks from and around Aldeburgh.

“Every step along Aldeburgh’s coast or through its woodland feels like a reward — sea air, wildlife, and endless views make each walk unforgettable.”
– Alex, SCC
