Suffolk parkruns that usually go ahead in the rain:

Lowestoft parkrun
Seaside scenery in England’s most easterly town, this course runs along the promenade with big skies, sea air, and a lively atmosphere. Ideal for a sunrise dip and a seafront coffee afterwards.

Sizewell parkrun
A unique mix of sandy trail and rugged track, with sea views, wind turbines, and the iconic power station on the horizon. Distinctive and coastal in character.

Rendlesham Forest parkrun
Winding through pine woodland, this peaceful route offers gentle inclines and forest tracks. Known for its UFO folklore, it’s also a haven for nature lovers.

Felixstowe parkrun
A fast, flat two-lap course along the promenade by the sea. Pram and dog-friendly, and right next to the pier for a post-run treat.

Framlingham parkrun
A countryside trail with grassy tracks and views of Framlingham Castle. Rustic, scenic, and warmly welcoming.

Kesgrave parkrun
A well-established Ipswich event held on parkland trails. Known for its friendly community and supportive atmosphere for runners and walkers alike.

Woodbridge parkrun
A riverside course with estuary views and fresh coastal air. Popular with both locals and visitors.

Walberswick parkrun
A charming route by the coast, weaving through dunes and marshland. Offers a mix of open sky, sea views, and big Suffolk landscapes.

Visitor tip: Many Suffolk towns and villages host smaller parkruns throughout the year, and most still go ahead in the rain. Always check the official parkrun website for the latest updates on cancellations or changes before setting off.
