The space

Open Plan Kitchen/Dining
As you enter The Muse, you are welcomed into the kitchen / first dining space.

The kitchen is fully equipped and stylishly designed with white units and sparkling, white granite worktops. Chefs benefit from two fan assisted ovens and a five ring ceramic hob. The sink even features a Quooker tap (with full instructions) to make cooking an even more pleasant experience. There's a huge American style fridge and freezer, a wine fridge and all the crockery and utensils you can think of.

Beside the kitchen is an extending glass table with six chairs and a smart TV on the dresser, facing the kitchen.

Living Room
The central living space has two huge sofas, a wide electric flame effect fire and a massive 75 inch Bang and Olufson TV. Probably to largest and coolest TV in a holiday home ever! Windows with shutters run down the whole side of this central living room.

Rear Living Room
Through an opening from the central living room is another place to relax, with two leather couches, another smart TV, Glass dining table and double doors to the court yard.

Mezzanine
A narrow oak stair case rises from the rear living room up to the mezzanine gallery, which is home to a designated work space, gorgeous Loaf sofa and views of farmland. A very peaceful spot for reading or working.

The Bedrooms
The two bedrooms at The Muse are both on the ground floor, just off from the kitchen/dining space. Both have en-suite shower rooms, with walk-in showers and there are no steps or uneven floors.

Both bedrooms also have TVs in them (not smart TVs).

The beds are both doubles and have bedside tables. There is plenty of hanging and drawer space available.

Additional WC
As well as the two en-suite shower rooms, The Muse has another WC.

Utility Room
A super little room housing a washing machine and dryer, a sink with draining board, clothes drying rack, ironing board etc..

Outside

At the rear of The Muse, is an elegant courtyard garden offering private space for guests to enjoy alfresco meals.

There is an awning from above the patio doors offering shade if required.

The BBQ is gas and available for guests to using during warmer weather.

Parking

There is space on the drive for two cars to park comfortably, just outside the property.

Floorplans

House rules

The Muse is not suitable for children under the age of 12 due to the steep nature of the stairs to The Mezzanine space.

Check-in is 4pm unless arranged in advance with our team.

The key is in a key-safe, the code for which will be sent to you during the week prior to your arrival.

Check-out is 10am on your departure day.

The Muse is a pet friendly holiday home but please keep them on the ground floor and off the furniture.

The heating at The Muse is under-floor. There are thermostats in each room to control the temperature.

The driveway is shared with the owners who have dogs and cats themselves. There is a little river next to the drive which is often home to wild ducks, who like to waddle around the drive and gardens.

Always here to help you

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.

Handpicked with heart

We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.

Framlingham

Framlingham is only 30 minutes from Suffolk's Heritage Coast with miles of beaches to explore and seaside towns to visit.

Walk from The Muse down a quiet lane (which starts just down the main road) and take a left on to a footpath which leads to Framlingham Castle Meres and into the market town beyond.

Framlingham Castle is the Castle Ed sings about and much of his videos are made locally to Framlingham.

Framlingham is a vibrant market town with bakeries, butchers, independent boutiques, pubs and restaurants. On Saturdays and Tuesday mornings, visit the friendly market in the centre of Framlingham and enjoy a coffee of hot chocolate from The Dancing Goat cafe.

There are four great pubs in Framlingham offering food and local real Suffolk ales. If you are into sports and swimming, visit Framlingham College for an energetic experience.

Another fabulous market town to visit is Woodbridge, through which the River Deben runs. For shopping, lunches, evenings out and sightseeing, Woodbridge is a super place to head to.

Great location for a family wedding weekend just up the road. Accommodation had everything we needed, clean and excellent condition. Our host was very welcoming, would certainly recommend.
Our second stay at this beautiful, tranquil and exceptionally comfortable and spacious home. Highly recommended
The property was as described and very very nice and dog friendly. Beds very comfortable as were sofa and tables and chairs. Location ideal for Framlingham and coastal resorts by car. Nice pubs for a meal within 5 minute drive away. TV in every room and a nice enclosed courtyard with privacy and ideal for our dog to have a mooch around. Ensuites very nice and clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull and acomodating. A nice kitchen and dinning area. There are no paths outside the property so walking probably not ideal although that is not down to the owners. Donna answered all questions very swiftly.
