The Space

Ground Floor
The front door leads into the pretty living room, with the kitchen beyond.

Living Room
Stepping in through the front door there’s a welcoming living room with a leather sofa and an armchair, an open fire, and a natural coir rug. There's a TV with FreeSat channels and a DVD player.

Kitchen/Dining Room
The light and airy kitchen-dining room has a beautiful hand-made kitchen with a Belfast sink and Smeg range cooker and a table and chairs to seat four people. A door from the kitchen leads straight out to the south-facing patio where there's an outside small table and chairs for outdoor dining on sunny days.

First Floor
From the living room steep stairs with a hand rail lead to up to small landing leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Bedroom One
This room has a lovely king size bed with a hand-made oak bed frame, white-washed floorboards, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables, a natural coir rug and a shower with frosted glass.

There is a small step between the landing and bedroom one.

Bedroom Two
The second bedroom is quite small with a partially sloping ceiling and has a single bed with a bedside table, single wardrobe, white-washed floorboards, coir rug and south-facing views.

Bathroom
In the bathroom is a roll-top bath, WC and a sink. There is also a shower with frosted glass in bedroom one.

Utility Room
Reached across the patio, there a small utility room that has a washing machine and freezer.

Outside

This Aldeburgh holiday let has a small south-facing patio with an outside table and chairs for outdoor dining on sunny days.

Tucked away in an enviable location, just off Aldeburgh's High Street and a only a few minutes walk to the beach. Even better, you can bring the dog!

Parking

We’d suggest you park on The Terrace at the top of the Town Steps where on-road parking is free of charge, but when you first arrive you might like to park in the short-stay spaces on the High Street to unload your car.

Why book with us?

When you book with The Suffolk Cottage Collection, you're getting the best possible price- no hidden fees, no inflated commissions. And if you speak to us, chances are you'll chat with Donna, who turns bookings into a breeze and always goes the extra mile with a smile. "Donna was fantastic with communication. Nothing was ever too much trouble."

We are local

We're not just in Suffolk - we're part of it. Our little farmhouse HQ looks out over rolling fields and winding lanes, and when we pop out for a walk, it's usually through the same villages and footpaths you'll be exploring on your holiday. We're properly local - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Always here to help you

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.

Handpicked with heart

We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.

Aldeburgh

Aldeburgh

Thorpeness 2.1 miles; Saxmundham 7.2 miles.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain.

Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months.

The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home.

For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
