Features

The Space

The kitchen has a view of Westleton's lovely village green. It is well fitted out and has everything you might need

Kitchen/Dining
The kitchen cupboards are well stocked with essentials. The dining room, which is open plan with the kitchen, has a table that seats six people, however it can easily extend to seat 10 people comfortably. The stairs are decorated all year round.

Living
In the living room there is a log burner. The bifold doors can be fully opened to give direct access to a large and beautiful back garden. There is a cupboard full of family games and jigsaws and children's toys. We have Netflix, NOW, Disney and Amazon TV as well as all of the usual catch up channels. There is a WiiU and a selection of games. For those who would like to listen to music, there is a Sonos system in the house that you can connect to with the sonos app, there are speakers in the living room and dining room.

Bedrooms
The house has three bedrooms. The two large rooms have king sized beds and have enough floor space for a travel cot and a mattress on the floor for a child. The third bedroom is smaller with a bunk bed, the bottom bunk is a very comfortable double.

Bathroom/WC
The bathroom and the downstairs toilet and shower are fairly retro! There is a deep enamel bath in the bathroom, and there is lots of hot water.

Workspace
There is not a specific office space, but there is a good quality monitor and a mouse and keyboard that you can use if you wanted to work whilst at Prospect Place. We often do this and set our workspace up on the dining room table, or in the living room.

Facilities
There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the garage. For little ones, there are plenty of toys and books as well as a high chair, a travel cot, a stair gate, a bath mat and a toddler rucksack carrier for walks where a push chair might be tricky.

Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Village
Within the village there is a brilliant playground for children with a zip wire. There is also a petanque pitch and an outdoor table tennis table. There are table tennis bats and petanque balls in the games cupboard.

Outside

The house has a very large garden with a brick built barbecue that guests are welcome to use.

There is also a garden log burner, which we use at the bottom of the garden in the summer.

There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the garage.

Parking

There is plenty of parking on the gated gravel driveway for two cars.

Why book with us?

When you book with The Suffolk Cottage Collection, you're getting the best possible price- no hidden fees, no inflated commissions. And if you speak to us, chances are you'll chat with Donna, who turns bookings into a breeze and always goes the extra mile with a smile. "Donna was fantastic with communication. Nothing was ever too much trouble."

We are local

We're not just in Suffolk - we're part of it. Our little farmhouse HQ looks out over rolling fields and winding lanes, and when we pop out for a walk, it's usually through the same villages and footpaths you'll be exploring on your holiday. We're properly local - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Always here to help you

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.

Handpicked with heart

We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.

Guest Reviews

Had a very pleasant stay, house was as described and very convenient for the pub which was literally across the road, where they were very friendly and did good food. Donna very responsive when I had a query and we had no moans what-so-ever. Would certainly go back again.
Lovely stay in a tranquil area
