Features

The Space

Entrance
Having parked on the gravel drive to the side of the property, enter the cottage through the front door into the hall and turn right into the front room which is bursting with Georgian charm and character.

Living Room
With seating for four, the front room is bright and light with a huge double glazed sash window, lots of original features and a wood burning stove for guests to enjoy in the cooler months.

Kitchen/Dining
A door leads to the kitchen/dining space which offers everything needed for a self catering holiday. The kitchen appliances include a large fridge freezer, under counter oven with four ring ceramic hob and extractor, a Nespresso Coffee machine and a washer/dryer in the pantry cupboard. Note the kitchen does not feature a dishwasher.

The back door from the kitchen leads to a pretty courtyard garden which is fully enclosed and has a back gate to the drive.

First Floor
Up the carpeted stairs, with hand rail are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The landing is small and there's another step up to the bedrooms.

King Bedroom
The front bedroom faces the front aspect through another large double glazed sash window. There's a handsome king sized bed, plenty or storage and a very useful desk (dedicated work space), with chair.

Double Bedroom
The bedroom at the rear of the property has views of the courtyard and gardens beyond. There's a double bed and a chest of drawers for storage.

Bathroom
The bathroom is conveniently positioned upstairs with the bedrooms and is fitted with an attractive white suite. There is a dinky half bath with shower over, a WC, a hand basin and a heated towel rail. N.B the towel rail gets very hot.

The stairs could be described as steep but they are original and in keeping with the style of the cottage. There is a hand rail and carpet but we ask guests to take care when using the stairs.

Pets
This cottage is pet friendly and welcomes one well behaved dog. If you would like to bring two dogs please contact us and we will liaise with the owners.

Outside

The back door from the kitchen leads to a pretty courtyard garden which is fully enclosed and has a back gate to the drive.

Parking

There is parking on the drive for one car. It is a short, narrow space but large enough for a car.
Further parking can be found in a lay-by around the corner.

Why book with us?

When you book with The Suffolk Cottage Collection, you're getting the best possible price- no hidden fees, no inflated commissions. And if you speak to us, chances are you'll chat with Donna, who turns bookings into a breeze and always goes the extra mile with a smile. "Donna was fantastic with communication. Nothing was ever too much trouble."

We are local

We're not just in Suffolk - we're part of it. Our little farmhouse HQ looks out over rolling fields and winding lanes, and when we pop out for a walk, it's usually through the same villages and footpaths you'll be exploring on your holiday. We're properly local - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Always here to help you

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.

Handpicked with heart

We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.

Bramfield

Hall Cottage in Bramfield is only 15 minutes from the infamous seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk and the Heritage Coast.

Bramfield is a charming village with a very friendly pub only a moments walk from the cottage.

Bramfield also offers an independent Butchers which also sells local produce and essentials, if you'd rather not drive to a supermarket (in Halesworth, 5 minutes).

North Manor Equestrian Centre is in the village and if you contact them directly they can offer riding lessons, hacks and livery stays.

Guest Reviews

We had a very comfortable stay. The place was quaint and well thought out. Thank you for letting us stay. Beth and James.
We were lucky to find Hall Cottage for a last minute break. Comfortable and stylish in a pretty village, very handy for the lovely local pub. Good location for getting out to the coast and exploring the county. Prompt and helpful communications from Donna.
Hall cottage was really lovely and in a great location. Beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and linen and a fine selection of books. The kitchen was small but well equipped including a coffee machine, cafetiere and Nespresso. Everything worked well. There is a pub near and a butcher /village store worth visiting - and also Halesworth up the road. Pop in to see the 14th century church too - its amazing.
