The space
Entrance Hall
Along the side of the cottage is a path which leads to the entrance porch with stable door. In the entrance hall has a perfectly placed alcove with coat hooks and a helpful little bench to perch on to put on your boots.
Kitchen
A nicely sized and well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with central island. The kitchen cupboards have everything guests need for a self catering stay and appliances include an integrated cooker and grill, ceramic hob and dishwasher. There is a double door American style fridge with two large freezer drawers beneath.
Double glazed patio doors open out from the kitchen to the walled garden.
Utility Room
Located through a door from the kitchen and conveniently equipped with another sink, a washing machine, microwave and an air fryer.
Dining / Living Room
From the kitchen, walk through an opening into the spacious living/dining room. The large oak table with benches either side comfortably seats six diners and the living area is beyond.
The living area is bright and also cosy, with two couches and a wood burner in the impressive fireplace. The Smart TV is available to use and there are lamps to change the lighting for your comfort.
Snug
A small but bright room with views of the Queens Head pub across the road.
Ground Floor Shower Room
Positioned at the far end of the side entrance hall is the shower room. With a huge walk-in rain shower and a wash basin. Due to the cottagey nature of the cottage, the rain shower is quite low.
WC
Beside the ground floor shower room is the ground floor WC with wash basin.
First Floor
Carpeted stairs with a hand rail rise from the snug to the first floor where you will find three lovely bedrooms. The landing has split levels due to the age and nature of the cottage. There is a bannister around the stair case.
Twin Bedroom
Located at the front of the cottage with views of the pub opposite is the twin bedroom, with two single beds. There is also a built in cupboard for storage.
Middle King
Centrally positioned along the landing is the middle bedroom with a king bed, bedside tables and a chest of drawers for storage.
Rear King
The largest of the three bedrooms and with views of the garden is the third bedroom. With a king bed sitting centrally with bedside drawers and another chest of drawers, upon which sits a smart TV. The walk in wardrobe offers all the space guests need for hanging clothes and storing bags and cases.
Family Bathroom
At the top of the stairs on the left is the family bathroom. There's a large oval bath tub to enjoy long relaxing soaks, a WC, a wash basin and a heated towel rail.

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.
Handpicked with heart
We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.
