Blackberry Barn
Long Melford
A super, four bedroom detached holiday home on the outskirts of Long Melford with a hot tub. Family and pet friendly, with a ground floor bedroom and wet room. As a real treat, the owners of this fabulous place provide a welcome gift to all guests, which includes a 10% off members card for the Nethergate Brewery, which is just around the corner.

Features
The Space
Entrance
Having parked on the allocated gravel drive, follow the short path and enter Blackberry Barn through the front door, directly into the living space, with plenty of coat hooks and space for boots and shoes.
Dining/Kitchen
With hardwood flooring and plenty of windows, this open plan, practical and bright space is home to the dining area with a large wooden table and eight chairs for comfortable family meals.
The kitchen is around to the right, at the rear of the property with appliances for a short term or longer self-catering stay. You will find lots of cupboard and worktop space to prepare meals, a four ring Induction hob with fan assisted oven beneath, a large fridge/freezer and a very modern sink unit. Please note, there is no dishwasher unfortunately.
Double glazed doors open from the kitchen into the South facing garden.
Utility Room
Positioned beyond the living room, the utility is another practical space with a door to the back garden and access to the stairs which rise to the first floor.
Ground Floor Double Bedroom
Located to the left of the entrance door is a very useful double bedroom which is suitable for guests with less mobility as there is also a wet room on the ground floor.
Wet Room
Purposely located on the ground floor as a facility to the whole group and more specifically the ground floor bedroom and HOT TUB, which is located in the garden. The wet room has a shower, wash basin, WC and a window with frosted glass.
Living Room
A fabulous space for all your family and friends to enjoy in summer with the bi-fold doors to the front garden and in cooler months with the wood burning stove roaring.
There is plenty of very comfortable seating on the reclining leather couches and a huge flat screen smart TV, on which you can stream your favourite TV shows and movies through your own account logins.
Stairs
Carpeted stairs with a turn and fixed handrail rise to the first floor, where you will find three further bedrooms and a bathroom.
Super King Bedroom
Located at the far end of the landing is the largest of the four bedrooms. This spacious room has a super king bed sitting centrally between bedside cabinets and there is further storage in the bespoke hand-crafted wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are two windows in this bedroom, both with black out blinds.
Single Bedroom
Just at the top of the stairs on the right is this super room, with a standard three foot single bed with large drawer under, a short wardrobe and two Velux windows with black out blinds.
Twin Bedroom
Situated opposite the top of the stairs next to the bathroom is this well proportioned twin bedroom with two standard size, three foot single beds. A large window to the front aspect of the property sits between the two beds and there is plenty of storage in bespoke, hand-crafted chests of drawers.
Bathroom
A beautifully designed, relaxing bathroom with new modern suite. The huge roll top, claw footed bath is positioned along the side and has a waterfall tap which adds to the relaxing nature of the room.

Blackberry Barn has both a front and back garden and is located up a narrow private lane.

The garden is also safe for dogs, although we would never say 'dog proof' as we all know how mischievous they can be. There is lawn to the front and rear of the property.

Pool/Hot Tub
The Hot Tub comfortably seats four adults and is nestled in the corner of the South-facing, rear garden.
Parking
Parking for one large car or two small cars (side by side) is allocated at the front of Blackberry Barn. Further private parking is around the other side of the property.
House Rules
Check-in is 4pm unless arranged in advance with our team.
The key is in a key-safe, the code for which will be sent to you during the week prior to your arrival.
Check-out is 10am on your departure day.
The Hot Tub is for use by adults and supervised children. No glass or crockery is permitted outside in the garden to keep this a safe space for bare feet.

Hall Street runs through the centre of the village and is packed with independent shops, pubs and restaurants to explore... not to mention the abundance of antique shops.
Just around the corner of Blackberry Barn is the Nethergate Brewery. People visit this brewery from all over the world to taste the award winning beers and to enjoy the three beer festivals that they hold each year.
