The Space

The space
You are welcomed into Alde Lodge through the front door into the smart and functional utility room. The room features an integrated washer/dryer, storage space, worktop and lovely big coat hooks.

To the left of the utility is the kitchen/living/dining space and to the right are the three en-suite bedrooms.

Kitchen
Sleek shiny grey units and wood effect worktops make this stylish kitchen space. With integrated microwave, oven/grill, wine fridge, full size dishwasher and large fridge with four drawer freezer. The island houses a five ring gas hob with a breakfast bar and two sturdy bar stools on the other side. The kitchen drawers have everything you need including lots of Joseph Joseph utensils and there's a Tassimo coffee machine on the worktop.

Dining
Enjoy long lazy lunches and evening suppers in the soft faux suede dining chairs around the handsome table.

Living / Relaxing
With a large flat screen smart TV on the wall above the electric flame effect fire, groups of up to six can relax comfortably on the large four seater and two seat sofas.

The Bedrooms
All three bedrooms have well proportioned en-suite shower rooms and are very stylishly furnished. There are two king bedrooms and a twin bedroom with two standard size single beds, comfortably accommodating up to six guests.

Each bedroom has its own wall mounted, flat screen smart TV and a large built in cupboard with hanging rail and hangers.

Outside

The living space in Alde Lodge is glazed at one end with two huge sliding doors which lead out to the paved patio/terrace.

The owners have invested in luxurious patio furniture with shower proof cushions for guests to enjoy on sunny days.

To the side if the property is a table and four chairs with a parasol at which guests can enjoy alfresco dining.

Parking

There is allocated parking next to the property for two cars (one behind the other).
The holiday park does not permit sign written vehicles on site. Further parking can be found on Church Farm Road which runs along side the holiday park.

Why book with us?

When you book with The Suffolk Cottage Collection, you're getting the best possible price- no hidden fees, no inflated commissions. And if you speak to us, chances are you'll chat with Donna, who turns bookings into a breeze and always goes the extra mile with a smile. "Donna was fantastic with communication. Nothing was ever too much trouble."

We are local

We're not just in Suffolk - we're part of it. Our little farmhouse HQ looks out over rolling fields and winding lanes, and when we pop out for a walk, it's usually through the same villages and footpaths you'll be exploring on your holiday. We're properly local - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Always here to help you

No robots. No "please press 1." Just real people who pick up the phone and actually want to talk to you. Got a question? Want a recommendation? Need to know which pub does the best Sunday roast? We're here. And if we don't already know the answer, someone in the village probably does.

Handpicked with heart

We don't do bland. Every one of our cottages is chosen because it has something special - the kind of place we'd book ourselves (or proudly recommend to Mum). If it's in our collection, it's passed the The Suffolk Cottage Collection Standard: charm, comfort, and a sense of place you can feel the moment you step through the door.

Guest Reviews

We had a lovely stay. The weather was a bit temperamental so didn’t spend as long on the beautiful pebble beach as we would have liked but very impressed at how close it was to the park and the scenic walk into town. Aldeburgh is a lovely village with lots of upmarket shops and restaurants. The lodge was very comfortable and beautifully decorated throughout and the park was very quiet despite still being summer holidays. We would def return.
We loved our stay, quiet place which suited us. No club house on site so it’s a base for the area. We will be returning for sure Thank you to all who let this and keep it so nice x
My second time at Donna's Place and enjoyed the luxury just as much as two years ago. Very relaxing and easy access to Aldeburgh
